First of all we were very impressed with how nice & big the inside was! The place looks very nice, new & clean! We right away was greeted by the bartender, Stephanie who was super friendly & patient! She told us about the specials (a plus) first off which I have to say not all bartenders do!! We ordered the burger & a few wings and very delicious! Wednesday is half price wine bottle night & they do have a nice wine list. They also have beer specials & a nice selection! We were vey impressed & will definitely be back :)

Came in on a Sunday afternoon. Service was slow and their server seemed like she didn't want to be bothered with us. Beer selection was mediocre at best, the wine list was decent. Prices were pretty high for what you get for an entree. If you want great food go next door to the Dancing Avacado.

My husband, daughter and I ate here today and not one thing was good or had any flavor! Pesto salmon...don't even think about it! My husband and daughter had a steak which was ordered medium rare...came out done! The side steamed veggies were still cold! You can tell all the meat and side dishes are previously frozen. The side salad was good!!

Awful experience. Went for a lunch meeting with 3 people. There were only a few other tables there, yet the servers acted like they were in the weeds. My friend had a 'seafood' soup that should have been called onion and tomato soup, she couldn't even eat it. I never ended up eating a thing and left starving. I order a raspberry and chicken salad. After a long wait I walked back from the bathroom and heard a server telling the cook what to put on it. Awhile later a server came to bring me the salad and realized the chicken was missing before he set it on the table. By the time my friends ate their bland food, another server came by to say they were out of raspberries and asked if I wanted blueberries instead, I said no. When they finally brought it out it was not only covered in blueberries but they were rotten. I sent it back and told them to forget about it. The servers could care less that I was leaving after being there for well over an hour without any food. The food that did make it to the table was nasty. My friends salad was literally just plain lettuce with no other vegetables. As far as the atmosphere, the stained brown carpet was a very unappetizing touch.WeI will never go here again.

Granted I've only had two things on the menu but I like this place! Good "bar" type food and drink list. Had the mahi sandwich and it was fresh tasting and the tartar was yummy. Potato skins are a guilty pleasure and delish. Not a five star restaurant but a great lunch place!

What I expected was run of the mill bar food. What I got was amazing. Food quality was over the top, as well as service. The place was spotless, staff was super friendly, attentive and and the food was not only high quality, but well prepared. I'm super impressed. They were slow, but that did not hurt my feelings at all. A nice little gem of a find. We got coconut shrimp... fresh, sweet and delicate. Wings medium... not too hot and sooo good. My bf got a rachel... a little twist on the Ruben. The corned beef was high quality and honestly, it's been a long time since he was not disappointed in a Ruben when he orders it. He raved about this one. Even the fries were good. Perfectly seasoned. Glad we stumbled onto lt!

More of a 2.5 than a 3 star rating. Scuttlebutts Pub and Restaurant is a rather confusing place. With a name like Scuttlebutts Pub I was expecting more of a dive bar with bar food. You walk in and the decor of this place is just a mess. They have a couple of seagulls and nautical things on a weird salmon color walls. The rest of the decor looks like it tries to be fancy. With wine decorations on the wall and light fixtures that aren't at all nautical. They need to pick a theme and stick to it. I got passed the decorations and looked at their beer selection. They have some decent choices here, but the bartender/server knew NOTHING about beer. I asked her a question about the style of one of the beers, and she just told me the name that was on the tap. I said yeah I can see that, but is it a brown, red, wheat, etc? She said she had no idea because she doesn't drink beer. I understand not everyone is a beer drinker. However, how hard is it to learn a little bit about your beer selection? The menu wasn't very big but had good choices. I went with the mahi mahi sandwich and my husband got the burger. My sandwich was very good. The fish was cooked perfectly. My husband's burger was over cooked though. Even though our server knew nothing about beer, she was very nice and quick to bring out water, napkins, and the bill. The location of Scuttlebutts is a little sketchy. It is in the historic part of Daytona. I guess historic just means closed down stores. There were also several homeless people outside the restaurant and one even came in to ask for hot water. Even though the food was decent and the server was very nice, I don't see myself returning here anytime soon.

Why can't I give no stars?! Don't go! We went on a Saturday night at 6:30 and only two tables had people at them. We sat ourselves and, a few minutes later got up and took some menus ourselves. The bartender came over after about 7 minutes to take our drink order and said our waitress would be over to take our order. She never came so the bartender took our order then left the restaurant. About 15 minutes she came back in with her kid and her "husband" and proceeded to hang out in the kitchen. In the time we sat there another table came in and left because no one even acknowledged that they were sitting there. We waited 40 minutes in total then decided to leave. The waitress stared at us as we got up and didn't say a word as we walked out. Who knows if the food is good but I'm not gonna waste my time to find out.

food was eh,looked like it used to be a nicer place. The owners children must paint because the walls looked like a 10th grade art class. my burger was overcooked and the waitress forgot my salad

Good looking place, nice menu but needs more energy. I had a nice chat with the owner, who had moved here after running a water taxi service down in the Harborside District of Baltimore...I think she and her partner have GREAT ideas for this place and it has a very comfortable vibe. They have outstanding happy hour specials and some excellent Craft Beers on tap...I really enjoyed my Magic Hat #9 along with a GREAT burger. I'll be back.

The service and the speed of food was great but the price of some of the menu items were a little over priced. I ordered the fish and chips and while my piece of fish was really large and definitely enough food I don't know that it was worth $11. My dining partner ordered the Mahi bites and his portion was definitely not worth the $11. His portion should have been considered an appetizer because it didn't come with any sides and wasn't enough for a full meal. Further while the food came out hot and fresh, the mahi bites weren't as spicy as expected. I'm big into craft beer and there weren't many beer options. Overall an okay place but not one that I'll frequent.

Ate here because I was giddy about the name. Never eat at a place called Scuttlebutts. The food was run of the mill and when I say run of the mill it could very well be an actual chinese factory mill. I had the french onion soup and there was nothing french about it. the onions tasted a little off and well, overall, scuttlebutts taste like butts (not that I have ever eaten a ladies ass)

I was with a group of 6 people, and the only thing that was edible was the fries. Among the meals were the ribeye, the chili bowl (the meat had a weird texture), Cesar salad (blackened chicken is an extra $5), and a steak salad. Needless to say, we will not be back. If I said this place was the worst place I've been to, that would be a compliment. Side note: server was friendly and we had the place to ourselves (no wonder).

Terrible service, the servers are awful. I stared at the server while she talked to some women while or food got cold in the window in front of us. The atmosphere didn't fit the name at all and happy hour is a shorter then most 5-7. Ordered cheese fries and potato skins and it took forever to get them. Also I find it strange they charge .75 cents a glass of water. Must be desperate for money since there was only one other table there.

Burgers. Beer. Comfortable tables. Great food. Service is excellent. We had planned to go someplace else but they were closed. I'm so glad because we had the friendliest waitress and the tastiest food. The presentation of the food was great. We would recommend and we will be back! !!

Thankfully this place is open 7 days a week because I showed upon a Sunday! It's a proper pub layout with an open atmosphere, 1/2 booth - 1/2 tables lining both sides of the room. Lots of beer and wine! It's in a really quaint part of town with some cool shops around it. Our waitress was very nice. Parking could be a pain, but luckily there is parking behind the building. The food was decent for a pub. You could tell that the oil used to make the fries was a bit old, but it was okay.

I had the black bean burger with pepper jack cheese. My burger was delicious. My plate came with a hearty portion of romaine lettuce which I love to top my burger with. I also chose to swap the fries for a house salad. The raspberry vinegarette was a great change to ordinary house dressing. My cousins ordered a chicken sandwhich with chipotle sauce. The chipotle sauce was suprisingly very good. Scuttlebutts was one of the best places I ate at during my Florida vacation.
